Hi, I’m Dr. Apurva Mathankar — High Performance Coach

Dr. Apurva Mathankar is a leading High Performance Coach and the Education Director at NSCA GC India. She is recognised for introducing the Return to Performance framework in India and for elevating the standard of athlete preparation in the country. With a postgraduate degree in physiotherapy, Dr. Apurva bridges the gap between rehabilitation and high-performance training. Her expertise lies in seamlessly integrating strength and conditioning with evidence-based rehab to create a clear, structured pathway from injury to peak performance. Initially stepping into a space where return-to-sport systems were often overlooked, she has been instrumental in shaping a more efficient and athlete-centric approach nationwide. Today, she empowers athletes to not only return to their pre-injury level but often exceed it.
